Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implementing new tools or methodologies to boost communication, teamwork and efficiency for each Release/Milestone

Senior AI Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Build the next-generation search product powered by state-of-the-art AI and Deep Learning techniques
  • Work with an international top-notch engineering team with full commitment on open-source
Required Qualifications:
  • Passionate about search & AI technologies. Open to collaborating with colleagues & external contributors
  • Good understanding about the mainstream deep learning models from multiple domains: computer vision, NLP, reinforcement learning, model optimization etc
  • Hands-on experience on deep learning frameworks, e.g. Tensorflow, Pytorch, MXNet, PaddlePaddle. Able to implement the latest DL model using existing API, open source libraries in a short time
  • Maintained/contributed open-source projects, familiar with the agile software development process, CICD workflow, ticket management, code-review, version control etc
  • Skilled at two of these programming languages: Python 3, C/C++, Go, Java, Javascript, Shell script
  • Good English skills especially for writing and reading documentation

Full Stack Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Full stack development on the application layer of our search product.
  • Maintain the product and milestone together with open-source community.
  • Work with an international top-notch engineering team to build the next neural search system
Required Qualifications:
  • Passionate about search & AI technologies. Open to collaborating with colleagues & external contributors & designers
  • Maintained/contributed open-source projects, familiar with the agile software development process, CICD workflow, ticket management, code-review, version control etc.
  • Hands-on experience with the Cloud-Native techniques. Good understanding about web services, containerization, database and modern software architectures.
  • Hands-on experience on frontend frameworks, e.g. React, Vue, etc.
  • Good understanding about web applications, RESTful API and modern software technologies.
  • Good taste on UI/UX and product designs.
  • Good English writing skills.

Open-source Evangelist

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Connect with Jina community members to encourage activity - project contributions, user stories, support questions & answers, meetups, etc.
  • Create blog posts, app samples and other content to help inspire, educate, and grow the Crate community
  • Speak to developers all around the world (in person or virtual) who are interested in using Jina.
  • Recognize trends in feedback from the community and relay that information back to engineering.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to identify and create events that are relevant for AI open source software communities.
  • Put together technical presentations that keep attendees engaged and interested.
Required Qualifications:
